    郭圣文,男,博士,教授,博士生導(dǎo)師華南理工大學(xué)自動(dòng)化科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院、國(guó)家人體組織功能重建工程技術(shù)研究中心教授,兼任廣東省老年癡呆診斷與康復(fù)工程技術(shù)研究中心副主任。2004年畢業(yè)于東南大學(xué)生物電子學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室,獲工學(xué)博士學(xué)位,畢業(yè)后,到華南理工大學(xué)生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程系任教。2008 年至2010 年,2015年先后赴美國(guó)Case Western Reserve University與University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign等高校從事醫(yī)學(xué)影像與多模態(tài)圖像分析方面的研究。

主講《C++程序設(shè)計(jì)》、《醫(yī)學(xué)圖像處理》、《醫(yī)學(xué)成像技術(shù)》等本科和碩士課程,以及《Digital Signal Processing》碩士課程(全英)。
      現(xiàn)為醫(yī)學(xué)影像與醫(yī)學(xué)電子團(tuán)隊(duì)負(fù)責(zé)人,主要從事圖像分析與模式識(shí)別、腦電信號(hào)分析、腦機(jī)接口、醫(yī)療人工智能、混合現(xiàn)實(shí)技術(shù)及醫(yī)學(xué)儀器設(shè)計(jì)等方面研究。近年來(lái),重點(diǎn)關(guān)注心、腦、肝臟與腎等重大疾病的智能診治與運(yùn)動(dòng)障礙患者康復(fù)問(wèn)題,探索生理信號(hào)檢測(cè)、處理和分析方法、人工智能算法,以及虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)和混合現(xiàn)實(shí)技術(shù)等應(yīng)用于疾病的早期診斷、病灶準(zhǔn)確定位、精確預(yù)后與輔助康復(fù)治療等。
    近年來(lái),主持國(guó)家及省部級(jí)項(xiàng)目10余項(xiàng),在領(lǐng)域內(nèi)高水平期刊共計(jì)發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文60多篇,其中被三大索引收錄30多篇,參與編寫(xiě)英文專(zhuān)著1部,授權(quán)發(fā)明專(zhuān)利10多項(xiàng),軟件著作權(quán)2項(xiàng),申請(qǐng)專(zhuān)利20余項(xiàng)。

 Dr. Shengwen Guo is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of South China University of Technology, National Engineering Research Center for Tissue Restoration & Reconstruction(NERC-TRE). He received his PhD from the Southeast University(China) in 2004 and was a visiting scholar in 2015 at Beckman Institute, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he was a postdoctoral research fellow between 2008 and 2010 at the Department of Radiology, Case Western Research University and Alcorn State University

 His current work focuses on the studies of medical imaging and image analysis. Specifically, Dr. Guo's group has: 

 (1) Based on the multiple biomarkers including biochemical indicators, genetic markers and neuroimaging data, developed discriminative analysis and automatic classification on the major chronic neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease(AD), epilepsy, and depression. It aims to explore the pathogenesis, process and progress of these diseases , which leads to early detection and diagnosis, risk prediction, timely intervention and effective treatment;

 (2) Investigated characteristics of intravascular ultrasound microbubbles, revealed the ultrasound microbubble motion and deformation, interaction with the ultrasound excitation, vascular structure and function, provided important theoretical basis and guidance for early detection of vascular lesion and targeted drug therapy; 

 (3) Developed a series of medical image analysis systems and application software, including three-dimensional visualization system(3D MedVis), multi-modal medical image registration and fusion software, motion correction, content-based medical image retrieval engine(CBMIR), quantitative analysis and motion tracing of microscopic images, etc. 

 Dr. Guo has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles. He is performing research in medical imaging and image processing supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province, and the China Scholar Council. He was ever peer reviewers of international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing and Optics Letter, etc.
